[٨٢٢٩] (بخ د ت) يزيد بن سعيد بن ثُمَامة بن الأَسود بن عبد الله بن الحارث بن الوِلَادة الكِنْدِي، وقيل غير ذلك في نسبه (¬٣). أسلم يومَ الفتح، وروى عن النبي ﷺ (¬٤). وعنه: ابنه السائب بن يزيد - ابن أختِ النَّمِر -. قلت: وقال الزهري، عن سعيد بن المسيب: ما اتَّخَذ النبيُّ ﷺ قاضيًا، ولا أبو بكر، ولا عمر، حتى كان في وسط خلافته، قال ليزيد ابن أخت النَّمِر: "اكفني بعضَ الأُمور" يعني صغارَها (¬٥).
