    [٧٩٠٨] (عخ د ت) الوليد بن قيس بن الأَخْرَم التُّجِيْبي المصري. روى عن: أبي سعيد، أو عن أبي الهيثم، عن أبي سعيد. وعنه: ابنه - عبد الله -، وسالم بن غَيْلان، وبشير بن أبي عمرو الخولاني، ويزيد بن أبي حبيب المِصْريّون. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثِّقَات" (¬٥). قلت: وقال العجليُّ: مصريٌّ تابعيٌّ ثقة (¬٦).وقال ابن يونس: كان أبوه شهد فتحَ مصر، وكان الوليدُ قديمًا؛ يقال: مات في خلافة عمر بن عبد العزيز (¬١).
