    [٧٨٨٠] (م) الوليد بن حَرْب الأَشْعري، الكوفيّ، لقبُه وَلَّاد. روى عن: سَلَمة بن كهيل. وعنه شعبة وابن عيينة - وقال: حدَّثنا (¬٦) الصَّدُوق الأَمِيْن - (¬٧). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬٨). قلت (¬٩): نُسِبَ في سياق حديثٍ الذي أخرجه مسلم، فقال في أواخر"الصحيح": حدثنا سعيد بن عمرو الأَشْعَثِيُّ، أخبرنا سفيان، عن الوليد بن حَرْبٍ - قال سعيد: أظنُّه قال: ابن الحارث بن أبي موسى - سمعتُ سَلَمة - فذكره - (¬١). وليس له عنده سوي هذا الحديث الواحد.
