    [٧٨٣٧] (ع) واسع بن حَبَّان بن مُنْقِذ بن عمرو بن مالك بن خَنْسَاء بنمَبْذُول بن عَمرو بن غَنْم بن مازن بن النَّجَّار الأَنصاري، المازنيُّ، المدني (¬١). روى عن: رافع بن خَديج، وعبد الله بن زيد بن عاصم المَازِني، وعبد الله بن عمر، وسعد بن المنذر وقيس بن أبي (¬٢) صَعْصَعَة، وأبي سعيد (¬٣)، وَوَهْب بن حُذَيْفَة، وجابر. روى عنه: ابنه - حَبَّان -، وابنُ أخيه - محمد بن يحيى بن حَبَّان -. قال أبو زُرعة: مدنيٌّ ثقة (¬٤). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثِّقَات" (¬٥). قلت: ذكره البغويُّ في الصحابة وقال: في صُحبته مَقال (¬٦). وقال العِجْلِيّ: مدنيٌّ تابعيٌّ ثقة (¬٧). وزعم العَدَوِيُّ أنه شهدَ بيعةَ الرضوان (¬٨).
