    [٧٨٢٩] (دس (ق) الهيثم بن شَفِي - بفتحِ الشِّين المُعْجَمة وتخفيف الفاء -. ضَبَطه الدارَقطني، وقال: مَنْ ضَمَّ الشينَ وثَقَّل فقد وَهِم (¬٣) -، الرُّعَيْني، أبو الحُصين الحَجْري المصري. روى عن: عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاصي، وعبد الله بن سعد بن أبي سَرْح، وفَضَالة بن عُبَيد، وأبي رَيْحَانة، وعبد الرحمن بن عُدَيْس البَلَوِي، وأبي عامر الحَجْري. وعنه: يزيدُ بن أبي حبيب، وعيَّاش بن عبّاس القِتْبَاني، وسَوَادَة الرَّقّي، وأبو الخَيْر مَرْثَد بن عبد الله اليَزَني. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثِّقَات" (¬٤). وقال أبو سعيد بن يونس: شهدَ فتْحَ مصر. قلت: وذكره يعقوبُ بن سفيان في ثِقَاتِ المِصْرِيِّيْن (¬٥).
