    [٧٧٩٣] (مد) هلال بن سَلْمَان الهمْدَاني، أبو مُحَلِّم الكوفي. روى عن: الشَّعْبِي. وعنه: مَرْوَان بن معاوية، ووكيع ومحمد بن عبيد، وأبو أسامة. قال عبد الله بن أحمد، أبيه: ليس به بأس (¬٣). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثِّقَات" (¬٤). قلت: وقال ابن شاهين في "الثِّقَات": وثقه ابن معين (¬٥).
