[٧٧٨٨] (خت) هلال بن ردَّادِ الطائي، ويقال: الكِناني شاميّ. روى عن: الزهري. وعنه: ابنه - أبو القاسم محمد المعروف بِحَمَّاد - (¬١). قال الذُّهْلي - في جَمْعِه لحديثِ الزُّهْرِي -: كان من كَتَبَةِ هِشَام، وكان أَسْوَقَهُم (¬٢) للحديث باقْتِصَاصه (¬٣). قلت: علَّقَ له البخاري موضعًا واحدًا في أوائل "الصَّحِيح" في حديثِ بدء الوحي (¬٤)، وهو من رواية ابنه محمّد عنه (¬٥).
