[٧٧٧٨] (خ) هُنَي (¬١) مولى عمر، وعامله على الحِمى. روى عن: أبي بكر، وعمر، ومعاوية، وعمرو بن العاص. وعنه: ابنه عُمَير، وأبو جعفر محمد بن علي بن الحسين. وقيل: إنَّ الذي روى عن عمرو، وعنه أبو جَعْفَر، رجلٌ آخر مولى لعمرو بن العاص (¬٢)، فالله أعلم. قلت: لِهُنَي ذِكْرٌ في "صحيح البخاري" في حديث أسلم: "أن عمر استعمل مولًى له، يُدْعَى هُنَيًّا على الحمى". الحديث (¬٣).
