[٧٧٦٦] (د ت ق) هُلْب (¬٥) الطَّائِي، يقال (¬٦): إِن هُلْبًا لَقَبٌ، واسمه: يزيد بن عَدِي بن قنَافَة بن عَدِي بن عبد شمس بن عَدِي بن أَخْزَم (¬٧). وَفَدَ على النبي ﷺ وهو أَقْرَعُ، فمسح رأسه، فَنَبَتَ شَعْرُه (¬٨).سَكَن الكوفة. وروى عن: النبي ﷺ. وعنه: ابنه قبيصة. قلت: وذكره ابن سعد في طبقة مُسْلِمَة الفَتْح (¬١). • هِلْقام، في مِلْقَام (¬٢).
