[٧٣١١] (بخ س) المُنْذِر عائذ بن المُنْذِر بن الحارث بن النُّعْمان بن زِيَاد بن عصر العصري، أشجّ (¬٥) عبد القيس. كان سيِّدَ قومه (¬٦). وفد على النَّبيِّ ﷺ، فقال له: "إنَّ فيك لخصلتَين يحبُّهما الله"، الحديث (¬٧).روى عنه: عبد الرَّحمن بن أبي بكرة الثَّقفي، وأبو المَنازل المثنَّى بن ساوى العبدي. قلت: قال ابن سعد: اختُلف علينا في اسم الأشجِّ، فقيل: المنذر بن عائد وقيل: عائذ بن المنذر، وقيل: عبد الله بن عوف (¬١). قال: ولما أسلم رجع إلى البحرين (¬٢) مع قومه، ثم نزل البصرة بعد ذلك (¬٣).
