    [٧٠٠٦] (د س ق) مسروق بن أوس التميمي اليربوعي الحنظلي، وقيل أوس بن مسروق، وقيل إن اسم جدّه مسروق. غزا في خلافة عمر. وروى عن: أبي موسى الأشعري.وعنه: حُميد بن هلال (¬١)، وقتادة، وغالب التَمَّار (¬٢). ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬٣). قلتُ (¬٤): بيَّن المصنف في "الأطراف" أنَّ الصواب مسروق بن أوس، وأن شعبة روى الحديث مَرَّةً بالشك (¬٥)، وعند أحمد (¬٦) وغيره من رواية شعبة عن غالب سمعت أوس بن مسروق رجلًا منا كان أخذ (¬٧) الدرهمين على عهد عمر وغَزَا في خلافته. وسنده صحيح.
