    [٦٨٧٥] (د س) مجالد (¬١٠) بن عوف الحضرمي، ويقال عوف بن مجالد حجازي.روى عن خارجة بن زيد بن ثابت. وعنه: أبو الزِّنَاد وقال: كان امرأ صدقٍ. وقال ابن أبي حاتم: سمع زيد بن ثابت (¬١). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" فيمن اسمه عوف (¬٢). قلت (¬٣): وقال الذهبي: لا يُعرف، تفرّد عنه خارجة بن زيد (¬٤).
