    [٦٦٢٧] (تمييز) محمد بن قيس الزَّيَّات، والد أبي زُكَير. روى عن: سعيد بن المسيب، وزُرْعة بن عبد الرحمن الزَّبيدي. روى عنه: ابنه أبو زُكَير يحيى بن محمد، وأبو بكر الحنفي، وأبو عامر العَقَدي، وداود بن عطاء، وزيد بن حِبَّان الرَّقِّي، وسعيد بن عبد الرحمن الجُمَحي، وعثمان بن عمر بن فارس، وأبو عاصم. قال أبو حاتم: مجهول (¬٣). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬٤). وقد خَلَط بعضهم بين هذه والتي قبلها، والصواب التفريق (¬٥).
