[٦٥٨٧] (س) محمد بن عيسى بن زياد الدَّامَغَاني، أبو الحسين، نزيل الرَّي.روى عن: ابن المبارك، وابن عيينة، وأبي تُمَيلة، وجرير بن عبد الحميد، وحَكَّام بن سَلْم الرازي، وسلمة بن الفضل الأبرش، وحمّاد بن نَجيح، وغيرهم. روى عنه: النسائي، وحسين بن محمد القَبَّاني، وأحمد بن جعفر بن نصر الجَمَّال، وأبو عبد الله محمد بن علي بن علويه الجرجاني الفقيه الشافعي، ومحمد بن أبان الأصبهاني، وأبو بكر بن أبي داود، والحسن بن الفضل البُوصرائي، ومحمد بن إسحاق بن خزيمة، ومحمد بن جرير الطبري، وأبو نعيم بن عدي الجرجاني، وآخرون. وروى عنه أبو حاتم الرازي وقال: يُكتب حديثه (¬١).
