[٦٣٤٢] (س ق) محمد بن طَلحة بن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكر الصِّدِّيق. روى عن: أبيه، ومعاوية بن جَاهِمَة، وقيل: عن أبيه، عن معاوية. وعنه: ابن إسحاق، وابن جُرَيج، وعبد الرحمن بن أبي بكر المُلَيكِيّ، وداود بن عبد الرحمن العِطَّار. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات"، وقال: كان عاملًا لعمر بن عبد العزيز على مَكَّة (¬٢). قلتُ: وكذا حَكَاهُ (¬٣) البخاري في "تاريخه" عن علي، عن سفيان، وزاد: فكان يستشيرُ ابن أبي نَجِيْح، وغيره (¬٤). وقد أرسل عن جَدِّه الأعلى أبي بكر ﵁ حديثًا في أول "الغيلانيات" (¬٥).
