    [٦١٥٥] (د) محمد بن حَفْص القَطَّان، أبو عبد الرحمن البَصريّ، خالُ عيسى بن شَاذَان. روى عن: أبي قُتَيبة سَلَم بن قُتَيبة، وعبد الرحمن بن مَهديّ، ومحمد بن خالد الجُهَنيّ، وأبي داود الطَّيالِسيّ، وأبي عامر العقَديّ، وأبي عَاصم.وعنه: أبو داود، وحَرْب بن إسماعيل الكِرْمَانيّ، ويعقوب بن سفيان، ومحمد بن عبد الله الحَضْرميّ، وابن أبي الدُّنيا. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬١). قلتُ: وذكره أبو عبد الله بن منده في "تاريخه"، وذكر أنَّه بغداديٌّ حدَّث عنه ابن عُيينة، ويحيى القَطَّان بالمناكير (¬٢).
