    [٦٠٤٧] (ص) محمد بن إسماعيل بن رَجَاء بن رَبيعَة الزُّبيدي، الكُوفي. روى عن: أبي إسحاق الشَّيبَاني، والأعمَش، ومنصور، ولَيث بن أبي سُلَيم، ومُغِيرَة بن مِقْسَم، وغيرهم. وعنه: يحيى بن آدم ومعاوية بن هشام، وعبد العزيز بن الخَطَّاب، وأبو نُعيم، وأحمد بن يونس، ويحيى بن عبد الحميد الحِمَّاني، وعبَّاد بن يعقوب الأَسديّ، وغيرهم.قال أبو حاتم: شيخٌ صالحُ الحديثِ، لا بأسَ به، بَابَةُ جعفر الأحمر، وهُرَيم (¬١). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬٢). وقال ابن عَدِيّ: وهو في جملةِ من يُنسب إلى التَّشَيع (¬٣).
