    [٦٠٣٩] (ق) محمد بن إسحاق بن عون، ويُقال: خَلَفَ البَكَّائِي، العامري، أبو بكر الكُوفي. روى عن: يَعلَى بن عُبَيد، وجَعفَر بن عون، وأبي غَسَّان النَّهْدي، وأحمد بن يونس، وخالد بن مَخْلَد، وعُبيد الله بن موسى، وقَبيضَة، وغيرهم. وعنه: ابن ماجه، وأبو عوانة، ومحمد بن المُنذِر شَكَّر، والهَيثَم بن خَلَفَ الدُّورِي، وعبد الله بن زيدَان، وإبراهيم بن محمد بن مَتُّوْيَه، وأبو العبَّاس أحمد محمد بن سعيد بن عُقدَة، وغيرهم. قال ابن عُقدَة: مات في شعبان، سنة أربعٍ وستِّين ومائتين. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬١).
