[٥٨٥٥] (م س) قطن بن وهب بن عويمر بن الأجدع الليثي، أبو الحسن، ويُقال: الخُزاعي المدني. روى عن: عَمِّه، ويُحَنَّس مولى آل الزبير، وعُبَيد بن عُمير اللَّيثي، وغيرهم. وعنه: مالك بن أنس، وعُبَيد الله بن عمر العُمَري، وعبد الأعلى بن أبي فَروَة، وعمر بن صُهْبَان (¬٢)، والضَّحاك بن عثمان الحِزَامي، والوليد بن كثير المدني. قال أبو حاتم: صالح الحديثِ (¬٣). وقال النسائي: ليس به بأسٌ. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬٤). له عندهما حديثٌ (واحد) (¬٥) عن ابن عمر في "فضل المدينة" (¬٦) (¬٧).
