    [٥٧١٢] (تمييز) الفَضْلُ بنُ الفَضْل بنِ الفَضْل (¬٣)، وهو ابنُ أبي سُويد السَّعدي، أبو عُبَيدة السَّقَطي البصري. روى عن: عبدالواحد بنِ زياد، وأبي بكر بنِ عياش، ويعقوب بنِ إبراهيم بنِ سعد، ويحيى بنِ يَمان، وعاصم بنِ بَكَّارِ اللَّيثي. روى عنه: أبو زرعة، وأبو حاتم، وإبراهيم بنُ فَهَد الساجي، وهشام بنُ عَلي السَّيرافي. قال أبو حاتم: ليس هو بذاك، شيخ يُكْتَب حديثه (¬٤). قلت: وهو متأخر الطبقة عن الذي قبله بكثير.
