    [٥٦٩٦] (د) الفَضْلُ بنُ الحَسن بنِ عَمرو بنِ أُمَيَّة الضَّمْري، المدني، نزيل مصر. روى عن: عَمِّه بُكَير بنِ عَمرو، وأبي هريرة، وابنِ عمر، وابنِ أُمِّ الحَكَم (¬١) بنتِ الزُّبير بنِ عبدِالمطَلِب، وأَرْسَل عن عُمر. وعنه: ابنُه الحسن، وجعفر بنُ رَبيعة، ويزيد بنُ أبي حَبِيب، وابنُ إسحاق، وعبيدُالله بنُ أبي جعفر، ويزيدُ بنُ محمد القُرَشي، وعُبيد بنُ وهب. ذكره ابنُ حبان في "الثقات" (¬٢). وقال ابنُ يونس (¬٣): يقال: توفي بالإِسْكَنْدَرِية. روى له أبو داود حديثًا واحدًا في "الذِّكْر بعدَ الصَّلاة" (¬٤). قلت: وقال العِجلي: مصري (¬٥)، تابعي ثقة (¬٦).
