[٥٦٥٩] (بخ س) غُضَيفُ بنُ أبي سفيان الطائفي، وقيل: غُطَيْف (¬٥). روى عن: يعقوب ونافع ابني عاصم، وعمرو بن أَوْس. وعنه: سعيد بنُ السائب، وعمرو بنُ وَهب الطائفيان. قال ابنُ حبان في "الثقات" (¬٦): غُطَيفُ بنُ أبي سفيان الثَّقفي، روى عن ابن عُمر، وعنه سعيد بنُ السائب (¬٧). قلت: بقية كلام ابن حبان (¬٨): مات سنة ثمان وأربعين ومئة (¬٩).وكذا أَرَّخَه خليفة (¬١)، وابنُ سعد (¬٢). وذكره ابنُ مَنده في "معرفة الصَّحابة". وقال ابنُ أبي حاتم في "المراسيل" عن أبيه: هو تابعي (¬٣). • غُضَيفُ، ويقال: غُطَيف، ويقال: أبو غُطَيف، يأتي في الكنى (¬٤).
