    [٥٢٦٩] (مد) عَمْرو بنُ الحُباب البَصْري، أبو عُثمان العَلَّاف، ويُقال: الصَّبّاغ، كان بالمَرْبَد (¬٧).روى عن: عبدِ الله بن الحارث المخزومي، وعبدِ الملك بن هارون بن عَنْتَرة، ويحيى بن سليم الطَّائِفي، ويعلى بن الأشْدَق. روى عنه: أبو داود في "المراسيل" (¬١)، ويعقوب بنُ سفيان، ومحمد بنُ أحمد بن هارون الفوّي. قال ابن ماكولا: ظنَّ بعضُ الرواة أنه أخو زيد بن الحُباب، وذلك وَهَم (¬٢).
