[٥١٨٢] (د) عمر بن شَقيق بن أسماء الجَرْميّ البصريّ، كان يتَّجر إلى الرَّيّ. روى عن: أبي جعفر الرَّازيّ، وإسماعيل بن مسلم المكّيّ.وعنه: ابنه الحسن، وأزهر بن جميل، ورَوْح بن عبد المؤمن، ويحيى بن حكيم المقَوِّم. قال ابن عَدِي: هو قليل الحديث (¬١). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثِّقات" (¬٢). روى له أبو داود حديثًا واحدًا في الكسوف (¬٣). قلت: قال ابن حزم في "المحلى" (¬٤): لا يُدرى مَن هو. وذكره ابن عدي، وساق له ثلاثة (¬٥)، وقال: هو قليل الحديث (¬٦). وقال الذَّهبي: ما رأيتُ أحدًا ضعَّفه (¬٧).
