    [٤٩٥٢] (تمييز) عليّ بن الحسن السمَّاك، ويُقال: السَّمَّان، أبو الحسين. روى عن: عبد الرحمن بن محمد المحَاربيّ. روى عنه: أبو بكر البزَّار، ومحمد بن عبد الله الحضرميّ. ذكره ابن منده في "الكنى" (¬٣). قلت: ما أُبْعِدُ أنَّ هذا هو اللّانيّ، وهو الذي ذكره ابن حبان (¬٤)، وهو الذي روى عنه الترمذي.
