[٤٦٨٦] (ق) عثمان بن جبير، الأنصاري، مولى أبي أيّوب. روى عن: أبي أيوب حديث: "صَلِّ صَلَاةَ مُوَدِّعٍ … " الحديث (¬١). وقيل: عن أبيه، عن أبي أيوب. وقيل: عن أبيه، عن جدّه، عن أبي أيوب. روى عنه: عبد الله بن عثمان بن خُثَيْم (¬٢). ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬٣). قلت: في "الطبقة الثالثة"، وقال: روى عن أبيه. عثمان بن جَحَّاش (¬٤)، في ابن شَمَّاس (¬٥).
