    [٤٦٠٢] (ع) عُبَيْد بن السَّبَّاق، الثقفي، المدني. روي عن زيد بن ثابت، وسهل بن حُنَيْف، وأسامة بن زيد،وابن عباس وميمونة وجويرية زوجي النبي ﷺ وزينب - زوج عبد الله مسعود -. وعنه ابنه سعيد وأبو أمامة بن سهل بن حُنَيْف، والزهري، ويزيد بن جُعْدبَة، ومسلم بن مسلم بن معبد. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬١) قلت: وقال العِجْلِي: مدني تابعي ثقة (¬٢). وذكره مسلم في "الطبقة الأولى من تابعي أهل المدينة" (¬٣). وقال خليفة: يُكنى أبا سعيد (¬٤).
