[٤٥٣٣] (ع) عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن أبي ثور، القرشي، مولى بني نَوْفَل، المدني. روي عن: ابن عباس، وصفية بنت شيبة. وعنه: الزهري، ومحمد بن جعفر بن الزبير. ذكره مسلم في "الطبقة الثالثة من أهل المدينة" (¬٣). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬٤). وقال البخاري، قال مصعب: كان أبو ثور من الغوث بن مُرّ بن أدّ (¬٥)،وعداده في بني نَوْفَل (¬١) (¬٢). قلت: ذكر الخطيب في "المُكْمِل" أنه لم يرو عن غير ابن عباس، ولم يرو عنه غير الزهري (¬٣).
