[٤٤٨٥] (ت) عبد الوهاب بن الوَرْد (¬٥)، المكي (¬٦). عن: رجل من أهل المدينة. وعنه: ابن المبارك.قيل: إنه وهيب بن الوَرْد (¬١)، وقيل: بل هو أخٌ له، وسيعاد (¬٢). قلت: وممن نَصَّ على أن وهيب بن الوَرْد اسمه عبد الوهاب: يعقوبُ بن سفيان في "تاريخه" (¬٣)، والشِّيْرَازِي في "الألقاب" (¬٤)، وحكاه عن ابن المبارك، وأبي العباس السَّرَّاج، وكذا حَكى عن يحيى بن معين (¬٥). وقال الذهبي: ما حدّث عنه سوى ابن المبارك (¬٦) (¬٧) (¬٨).
