    [٤٣٧٩] (٤) عبد المجيد بن أبي يزيد وهب، العقيلي، العَامِرِي، أبو وهب، ويقال: أبو عمرو، البصري. روى عن: العَدَّاء خالد بن هَوْذَة، وأبي الحَلَال (¬١) ربيعة بن زُرَارَة. وعنه: أبو الحسن عَبَّاد بن ليث الكَرَابِيْسِي، والحَلَال بن ثور بن عون بن أبي الحَلَال، وعثمان بن عمر، ووكيع، وعمر بن إبراهيم اليَشْكُرِي، ومحمد بن مِهْزَم الشَّعَّاب، وهارون بن موسى الأعور، وحماد بن زيد، والمِنْهَال بن بحر العقيلي. قال يحيى بن معين: ثقة (¬٢). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬٣). له عند أبي داود (¬٤) حديث في الخطبة بعرفة (¬٥)، وعند الباقين آخر في ترجمة عَبَّاد بن لَيْث (¬٦).
