[٤١٤١] (م د س) عبد الرحمن بن عثمان بن عُبَيد الله بن عثمان بن عَمرو بن كعب بن سعد بن تَيْم بن مُرَّة التّيْمِيُّ، أسلم يوم الحُديبية، وقيل: يوم الفتح، وكان يُقال له: شارب الذهب. روى عن: النبي ﷺ، وعن عمِّه طلحة بن عُبَيد الله، وعثمان بن عفَّان. وعنه: ابناه عثمان ومعاذ والسائب بن يزيد، وابن المسيَّب، ومحمد بن إبراهيم التَّيْمي، وأبو سلَمة بن عبد الرحمن وغيرهم. قُتِل مع عبد الله بن الزبير ودُفن بالحَزْوَرَة (¬٣)، فلما زيد في المسجد دَخَل قبرُه في المسجد الحرام (¬٤).
