[٣٩٨٨] (ت س) عبد الرحمن بن الأسود بن المأمول، مولى بني هاشم، أبو عَمرو الورَّاق البَصريُّ. بغداديُّ الأصل. روى عن: عَبيدة بن حُمَيد، ومحمد بن ربيعة الكِلابي، ومُعمَّر بن سليمان الرَّقِّي، وعُمر بن أيوب الموصليِّ.وعنه: الترمذي والنسائي وابن جَرير الطبري (¬١)، وإسحاق بن إبراهيم بن محمد بن عَرعَرة، وأبو عبد الله محمد بن عَبْدة بن حَرب القاضي، وإبراهيم بن محمد بن سعيد النيسابوريُّ الصَّيْدَلانيُّ وغيرهم. مات بعد الأربعين ومئتين (¬٢).
