    [٣٨٨٦] (م س) عبد الله بن يزيد النَّخَعيُّ الكوفيُّ، وليس بالصُّهْبانيّ. روى عن: أبي زرعة بن عَمرو بن جَرير. وعنه: شعبة. روي له مسلم، والنسائي حديثًا واحدًا في كراهية الشَّكَالِ من الخيل (¬٣) (¬٤). قلت: حكى المؤلِّفُ في ترجمة الذي بعده عن الخطيب بإسنادٍ له أنَّ شعبة كان يقول في هذا الحديث: حدَّثنا عبدُ الله بن يزيد وليس بالصُّهباني. قال المؤلِّفُ: وقال عبد الله أحمد، عن أبيه: شعبة يخطئ في هذا يقول: عبد الله بن يزيد، وإنما هو سَلْم بن عبد الرحمن النَّخَعِي (¬٥).
