[٣٨٦٣] (م د ق) عبد الله واقد بن عبد الله بن عُمر بن الخطَّاب بن العَدَويُّ المدنيُّ. روى عن: جدِّه، وعمِّه عبد الله بن عبد الله بن عُمر، وعائشة وأرسل عن النبي ﷺ. وعنه: عُمر بن محمد بن زيد بن عبد الله بن عُمر، وعبد الله بن أبي بكر بن، محمد بن عمرو بن حَزْم، والزهري، وفُضَيل بن غَزْوان، وإبراهيم بن إسماعيل بن مجمِّع وغيرهم. قال مالك: رأيتُه (¬١). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات"، وقال: مات سنة تسع عشرة ومئة (¬٢). قلت: وفي "طبقات ابن سَعْد": مات قديمًا في خلافة هشام بن عبد الملك (¬٣). وفي "رجال الموطأ" لابن الحَذَّاء: قيل: هو عبد الله بن واقد بن زيد بن عبد الله بن عُمر. قال: والأول أصحّ (¬٤).
