[٣٣١٢] (تمييز): عباس بن الحسن البَلْخيُّ، أبو الفضل، سكن بغداد. روى عن: أسود بن عامر، وعبد الله بن داود الخُرَيبيُّ، وابن نُمير، وعبد الصمد، ومحمد بن عبد الله الأنصاري، وأَصْرَم بن حَوْشَب. وعنه: محمد بن عبد الله الحضرمي مُطَيَّن، وأحمد بن الحسن الصَبَّاحي، وأحمد بن محمد بن خالد البَرَاثي، والحسين بن إسماعيل المَحَاملي، ومحمد بن مَخْلد، وقال: مات سنة ثمان وخمسين ومئتين (¬٢). قال الخطيبُ: ما علمتُ من حالِهِ إلا خيرًا (¬٣).
