[٢٩٧٧] (بخ) صالحُ بنُ خَوَّات بن صالح بن خَوَّات بن جُبَير، حَفِيد الذي قبله. روى عن: أبيه، وأبي طُوَالة، وعبد الله بن أبي بكر بن عمرو بن حَزْم، ومحمَّد بن يحيى بن حَبَّان، وغيرهم. وعنه: ابن المُبارك، وفُضَيل بن سُلَيمان، وطلحة بن زيد، وإسحاق بن الفَضْل الهاشمي، والواقدي.قلتُ: ذكره ابن حِبَّان في "الثقات" (¬١).
