[٢٩٥٢] (ت) شِهاب بن المَجْنُون، ويقال: شِهاب بن كُلَيْب بن شِهاب، ويقال: شِهاب بن أبي شَيبة، ويقال: شَبِيب، ويقال: شُتَير جدُّ عاصم بن كُلَيْب (¬٤). روى حَدِيثَه: عاصم بن كُلَيْب، عن أبيه، عن جدِّه، عن النبي ﷺ في الصَّلاة (¬٥). وقال البخاري في "التاريخ": حدَّثنا عفَّان، حدَّثنا أبو بكر النَّهْشَليُّ، حدَّثنا عاصم بن كُلَيْب الجَرْمِيُّ، عن أبيه، وكان أبوه من أصحاب بدر.قلتُ: وقال ابنُ السَّكَن: شِهاب الجَرْمِيُّ جَدُّ عاصم بن كُلَيْب، يقال: له صحبة، وليس بمشهور في الصحابة (¬١).
