    [٢٧٠٣] (ت) سُلَيمان بن عبد الجبَّار بن زُرَيق الخَيَّاط، أبو أيُّوب البغداديُّ، سَكَن سامرَّاء. روى عن: عليّ بن قادِم، وأبي عليٍّ الحَنَفيِّ، وعُثمان بن عمر بن فارس، ويونس بن محمَّد المُؤَدِّب، وعمر بن حَفْص بن غِياث، وعَفَّان، وعُبَيد الله بن موسى، وأبي عاصم، وجماعة. وعنه: التِّرمذيُّ، وأبو بكر بن أبي عاصم، وأبو بكر بن أبي الدُّنيا، ومحمَّد بن محمَّد بن سليمان الباغَنديُّ، وأبو يعلى، وأبو العبَّاس السَّرَّاج، وابنُ صاعد، وجماعة. قال ابن أبي حاتم: كتب عنه أبي، وسُئِل عنه؟ فقال: صَدُوق (¬٣). قال أبي: وسمعتُ حَجَّاج بن الشَّاعر يُبالغ في الثَّناء عليه، ويذكره بالخير (¬٤). وذكره ابن حِبَّان في "الثقات" (¬٥).
