[٢٦٥٤] (س) سُلَيمان بن أيوب بن أيوب بن سُليمان بن داود بن عبد الله بن حَذْلَمَ الأسديُّ، أبو أيوب الدِّمشقيُّ. روى عن: يزيد بن عبد الله بن رُزَيق، وسليمان بن عبد الرَّحمن، وصَفْوان بن صالح، ودُحَيم، وعَبْدة بن عبد الرَّحيم المروزيِّ، وأبي إبراهيم التَّرجُمانيِّ، وعدَّة. وعنه: النَّسائيُّ، وابنُه أبو الحسن أحمد بن سليمان، وأبو طالب أحمد بن نصر الحافظ، ومحمَّد بن المُسَيَّبِ الأَرْغِيانيُّ، ومحمَّد بن المنذر الهَرَويُّ شَكَّر، وأبو القاسم بن أبي العَقَب، وأبو القاسم الطبرانيُّ، وغيرهم. قال النسائي: صَدُوق (¬٢). وقال محمد بن يوسف الهَرَوِيُّ: مات سنة تسع وثمانين ومئتين (¬٣).
