    [٢٥٨٧] (تمييز) سَلْم بن عبد الرَّحمن الجَرْمِيُّ، البصريُّ. روى عن: سَوَادة بن الرَّبيع، وله صحبة. وعنه: سَلَمة بن رجاء التَّمِيميُّ، ومحمَّد بن حُمْران القَيْسِيُّ، ومُرَجَّى بن رجاء اليَشكُريُّ.قال عبد الله بن أحمد، سمعت أبي يقول: سَلْم بن عبد الرَّحمن، ومُرَّجا بن رجاء ما علمت إلا خيرا (¬١). قال المؤلِّف: خَلَطه بعضُهم بالذي قبله، والصَّواب التَّفرقة بينهما. قلت: وقد فرَّق بينهما ابن أبي حاتم (¬٢)، وابن حِبَّان في "الثقات (¬٣) "، وغير واحد (¬٤) (¬٥). * سلْم بن عَجْلان في ابن أبي الذَّيَّال (¬٦) (¬٧).
