[٢٢٥٢] (ق) زيد بن عبد الحميد بن عبد الرحمن بن زيد بن الخطاب، العدوي، المدني. روى عن: سليمان بن علي بن عبد الله بن عباس. وعنه: داود بن عطاء المدني. قال ابن أبي حاتم: (هو زيد بن عبد الكبير بن عبد الحميد، نسبوه إلى جده، لأن جده كان قاضي عمر بن عبد العزيز، وكان جليلًا) (¬٤). وقال ابن حبان في "الثقات": (زيد بن عبد الحميد، روى عن: عمر بن عبد العزيز، وأهل المدينة، وعنه الأوزاعي) (¬٥).روى له ابن ماجه حديثًا واحدًا في: "صيام رجب (¬١) " (¬٢).
