    [١٨٨٦] (تمييز) داود بن أبي صالح، حجازي. روى عن: أبي أيوب الأنصاري. وعنه: الوليد بن كثير. قلت: قرأتُ بخط الذهبي: (لا يُعرف) (¬٧). وقال في "الميزان": (لم يرو عنه غير الوليد بن كثير) (¬٨). قلت: الحديث الذي أشار إليه أخرجه: أحمد، والحاكم، من طريق العقدي، عن كثير، عن داود، عن أبي أيوب (¬٩).فأخشى أن يكون قوله: (روى عنه: الوليد بن كثير) وهمًا، وإنما هو كثير بن زيد، والله أعلم (¬١).
