[١٨٤٧] (د) الخليل بن زياد المحاربي، الخواص، الكوفي، سكن دمشق. روى عن: علي بن مسهر، وعلي بن عابس، وأبي بكر بن عياش، ومروان بن معاوية الفزاري، وغيرهم. وعنه: أبو زرعة الدمشقي، وأبو حاتم الرازي. روى أبو داود في "الديات": (عن محمد بن يحيى بن فارس، عن محمد بن بكار العاملي، عن محمد بن راشد، عن سليمان يعني ابن موسى، عن عمرو بن شعيب، عن أبيه، عن جده، عن النبي ﷺ، قال: "عقل شبه العمد: مغلظ، مثل: عقل العمد، ولا يقتل صاحبه"، قال، يعني محمد بن يحيى: وزادنا خليل، عن ابن راشد: "وذلك أن ينزو الشيطان") (¬٤) الحديث.قال المزي: (وما أظنه إلا ابن زياد هذا) (¬١).
