[١٨٣٥] (م د) خليد بن عبد الله العصري، أبو سليمان البصري. روى عن: علي، وسلمان، وأبي ذر، وأبي الدرداء، والأحنف، وزيد بن صُوحان، وقرأ عليه القرآن. وعنه: أبان بن أبي عياش، وأبو الأشهب العطاردي، وعوف الأعرابي، وقتادة. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬٥). قلت: وذكر إسحاق بن منصور، عن يحيى بن معين، أنه قال: (لم يسمع خليد بن عبد الله من سلمان، قال فقلت: يقول: "لما ورد علينا سلمان"، قال: يعني بالبصرة) (¬٦) انتهى. وعلى هذا: فيبعد سماعه من علي، وأبي ذر، وأما أبو الدرداء، فقال ابن حبان في "الثقات" لما ذكره: (يقال إن هذا مولى لأبي الدرداء) (¬٧).
