[١٨١٦] (م) خفاف بن إيماء بن رَحَضَة الغفاري، إمام بني غفار. روى عن: النبي ﷺ. وعنه: ابنه: الحارث، وحنظلة بن علي الأسلمي، ومقسم، والصحيح أن بينهما رجلًا. روى البخاري، من طريق أسلم، قال: (خرجتُ مع عمر إلى السوق، فلحقته امرأة، فقالت: يا أمير المؤمنين أنا ابنة خفاف بن إيماء، وقد شهد أبي الحديبية)، في حديث طويل (¬١). قلت: فدل على أنه مات قبل ذلك. وقد كتب المصنف (¬٢)، حاشيةً: (توفي بالمدينة في خلافة عمر) انتهى (¬٣). وقال أبو القاسم البغوي: (بلغني أنه مات في زمن عمر) (¬٤).
