[١٧٤٥] (ت س) خالد بن عرفطة بن أبرهة، ويقال: أبره بن سنان القضاعي، العذري له صحبة. روى عن: النبي ﷺ، وعن عمر.وعنه: أبو عثمان النهدي، وأبو إسحاق السبيعي، وعبد الله بن يسار الجهني، وحفيده عمارة بن يحيى بن خالد بن عرفطة، ومولاه مسلم، وغيرهم. قال الطبراني: كان خليفةَ سعد بن أبي وقاص على الكوفة (¬١). وقال ابن أبي عاصم: مات سنة إحدى وستين. له في الكتابين حديث واحد فيمن قتله بطنه (¬٢). قلت: وذكر الدولابي: أن المختار بن أبي عبيد قتله بعد موت يزيد بن معاوية، فيكون ذلك بعد سنة أربع وستين، والله أعلم (¬٣).
