[١٧٣٥] (د س ق) خالد بن عبد الله بن حسين الأموي مولاهم، الدمشقي. وقد ينسب إلى جده. روى عن: أبي هريرة. وعنه: إسماعيل بن عبيد الله بن أبي المهاجر، وزيد بن واقد، ومحمد بن عبد الله بن المهاجر الشعيثي. قال البخاري: سمع أبا هريرة (¬٣). وقال إسحاق بن سيار النصيبي: أظنه لم يسمع من أبي هريرة (¬٤). وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات (¬٥). قلت: وقال الآجري عن أبي داود: كان أعقل أهل زمانه (¬٦).
