[١٧٣٤] (م) خالد بن عبد الله بن حرملة المدلجي، حجازي. روى عن: الحارث بن خفاف بن إيماء، وأبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن بن الحارث بن هشام. وعنه: محمد بن عمرو بن علقمة، ومحمد بن يحيى الأسلمي. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات (¬٥). قلت: وقال البخاري حديثه عن النبي ﷺ مرسل (¬٦). قلت: وذكره - لأجل هذا الحديث، ومتنه: "خيركم المدافع عن قومه" (¬٧) - في الصحابة البغوي: وقال: لا أدري له صحبة أم لا.وذكره فيهم ابن أبي عاصم وابن منده (¬١) وأبو نعيم (¬٢).
