    [١٦٧٧] (ق) حَوْثَرة بن محمد بن قديد المنقري، أبو الأزهر البصري الوراق. روى عن: ابن عيينة، والقطان، وابن مهدي ومحمد بن بشر العبدي، وأبي أسامة، وغيرهم. وعنه: ابن ماجه، وابن خزيمة، وزكريا الساجي، وابن جرير الطبري، وأبو حامد الحضرمي، وابن صاعد، وغيرهم. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات (¬١)، وقال هو وإبراهيم بن محمد الكندي، مات سنة ست وخمسين ومائتين. قلت: وذكره أبو علي في شيوخ أبي داود، وقال: روى عنه في كتاب بدء الوحي.
