[١٤٣٥] (د ت) الحسين بن يزيد بن يحيى الطحان الأنصاري، أبو علي، وقيل: أبو عبد الله الكوفي. روى عن: حفص بن غياث، وعبد السلام بن حرب، وعبد الحميدالحماني، ومحمد بن فضيل، وأبي خالد الأحمر، وعبد الله بن إدريس، ووكيع، وغيرهم. وعنه: أبو داود، والترمذي، وأبو بكر الأثرم، وأبو زرعة، والسراج، ومطين، والحسن بن سفيان، وأبو يعلى، وغيرهم. قال أبو حاتم: لين الحديث (¬١). وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات (¬٢). قال محمد بن عبد الله الحضرمي: مات في رمضان سنة أربع وأربعين ومائتين. قلت وروى عنه مسلم خارج الصحيح (¬٣).
